    1. To ensure effective implementation of various schemes of the Central and State Governments.
    2. To implement the Abhiyans of various departments of the Central and State Governments.
    3. To coordinate among various government offices.
    4. To coordinate the activities implemented by various government offices.
    5. To ensure that the services provided to the citizens through subordinate offices are available quickly, promptly and easily.
    6. To increase the use of modern technology and citizen-centric approaches in subordinate offices.
    7. To coordinate and monitor disaster management and relief work.
    8. To maintain law and order in the division.
    9. To redress public grievances.
    10. To meet the public and resolve their problems in a quality manner.
    11. To perform the work of courts related to appellate and reviewable jurisdiction.
    12. To conduct annual inspection of subordinate offices and guide them for effective functioning.
    13. To organize regular meetings and conferences for the effective implementation of various government schemes and activities and to review the implementation.
    14. To supervise land revenue, settlement of revenue and collective supervision of cases filed before the subordinate offices.
    15. To ensure timely maintenance of land records.
    16. To monitor various initiatives implemented for the alleviation of scarcity.
    17. to dispose of applications sent by applicants under the Right to Information Act-2005 within the stipulated time.
