    • Proceeding in dispute cases under Section 39 (1) of Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Act 1959.

    • Proceeding in appeals filed under the Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Act, 1959.

    • Appeal cases against punishment of class-3 and class-4 employees in Zilla Parishad.

    • Taking action regarding the purchase and registration of permissible vehicles to Zilla Parishad level officials and officers approved by the Rural Development Department.

    • Dealing with approval of exceptional transfer and deputation of Zilla Parishad Class-3 employees.

    • Coordinating the recruitment process of Zilla Parishad class-3 and class-4 employees.

    • To conduct inspection and memo reading reports of Zilla Parishad every year and Panchayat Samiti every five years.

    • To determine the grant of grants received from the Rural Development Department to the Zilla Parishad. Also review of utility certificate, debt settlement and audit points.

    • Coordinating all establishment related matters of Maharashtra Development Service Class-1 and Class-2 officers.

    • To deal with promotion and transfer of Maharashtra Development Service Class-II.

    • Conducting post-service entrance examination and departmental competitive examination of class-3 employees of Zilla Parishad.

    • Departmental Examination, Post-Service Entrance Examination, etc. of Accounts Cadre employees of Zilla Parishad.

    • Distribution of grant, audit and ancillary work to Gram Sevak Training Centre, Panchayat Raj Training Center and Joint Training Centre.

    • Conducting departmental enquiry process of Zilla Parishad class-3 and class-4 employees.

    • To finalize the names of meritorious officers and employees of Maharashtra Development Service and recommend them to the government for award.
