As per Rule 18(3) of the Maharashtra Rules, 2014, formulated under Section 109 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013, if the compensation amount exceeds ₹10 crore and less than ₹100 crore, before granting prior approval of the Hon’ble Divisional Commissioner, technical scrutiny and verification of the proposed rates of the draft award received from concerned District Collector.

As per Rule 18(3A) of the Maharashtra Rules, 2014, formulated under Section 109 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013, if the compensation amount exceeds ₹100 crore, technical scrutiny and verification of the proposed rates of the draft award received from concerned District Collector and to submit the proposal for prior approval of the Government through Hon’ble Divisional Commissioner.
