Employment Guarantee Scheme Branch

266 works of various agencies are undertaken under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, the works of various agencies like Public Works, Agriculture, Social Forestry, Silk Department, Forest Department etc. are controlled and supervised through the office of Deputy Collector (EGS).

The control and supervision of all agencies like agriculture, construction, animal husbandry, minor irrigation, water supply department etc. under the Panchayat Samiti of Zilla Parishad is done through Deputy Chief Executive Officer (NREGA/Panchayat).

The work of MREGS in Pune Division is supervised by the Joint Commissioner (EGS), Pune Division, Pune.
