Rehabilitation Branch

1. To take necessary action as per  provisions of the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1976, 1986 and 1999.

2. To take action on cases received from  rehabilitation offices of the districts in  Pune division, as per  government resolutions of the Government in Revenue and Forest Department.

3. To take action as per  provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

4. To prepare and submit proposals for works related to civic amenities in the rehabilitated villages (gaothans) and to distribute  funds and to give administrative approval.

5. To prepare and submit half-yearly/annual budgetary estimates to government for grants under the main account heads 2235, 2049, 4235, 4701, 4702, 4801 and 6235. To distribute  grant’s , received from Government ,  to the districts and  to submit utilization certificates and appropriation accounts to the government.

6. To perform all necessary functions as the controlling officer for the rehabilitation work of persons affected by irrigation projects in  Pune division.
