    Planning Branch

    • There are five districts under the jurisdiction of the planning branch of Pune Division, viz Pune, Satara, Sangali, Solapur, Kolhapur.

    • The role of Commissioner Planning branch is to co-ordinate between District Planning Committee and the Government of Maharashtra & in the planning process as well as supervising and controlling the work of the District Planning Committee.

    • Attending the District level and Regional level meetings of District Planning Committee and subcommittee Meetings.

    • Controlling the expenditure of the scheme and Consolidated Monthly/Quarterly Progress Reports of Pune Region Districts for the Schemes mention in the below and submitting to the Planning Branch.

      1. Member of Legislative Assembly Scheme (MLA Fund)
      2. Dongri Vikas Karykram,
      3. Member of Parliament Local Area Development Program (MPLADS),
      4. District Annual Plan (General),
      5. Other Tribal Sub Plan (OTSP) ,
      6. Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) etc.

    • Inspection of at least १० works undertaken under various development programs every month and submitting the brief report.

    • To carry out evaluation studies and monitoring related work of development schemes implemented by various departments of the State Government.
