Sant Gadgebaba Gram Swachata Abhiyan

Since the year 2000-01 Sant Gadgebaba Gram Swachhta Abhiyan is being implemented. Central Government’s Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) is an ambitious programme being implemented from October 2, 2014. As per survey most of the villages are declared ODF in 2018 The main aim of this campaign is sustainable use of individual toilets, and toilet facility at School, Aanganwadi, government/semi-government buildings, offices, cooperatives, public markets, S.T. stand, travel places, tourist places etc.
The aim is to keep the places clean and actions are being taken at the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad levels through various programmes.
