To conduct fair price shop inspection as per the target given vide 27/04/2002 as per the government circular no. savivya 1099/P. no. 8599/napu 28 d. 27/04/2002.

Pursuant to section 154 of the Petroleum Act 2002, to look into the appealable proceedings regarding the no-obligation certificate issued by the District Magistrate for setting up petrol and diesel pumps.

As per Clause 24 of the Maharashtra Scheduled Commodities (Regulation of Distribution) Order 1975, to deal with the appellate proceedings regarding the orders regarding inspection of fair price shop by the District Supply Officer / Foodgrain Distribution Officer, order regarding advertisement of new fair price shop and order of registration of nominee of fair price shop etc.
